Including shipping costs from Hong Kong, these li-ion cells cost little more than £1 each, so I really wasn't expecting much from them. They claim 3000mAh... I just hoped they might exceed 1000mAh.
I recently applied for a job at GCHQ in Cheltenham. I didn't get it, so disclosing this publicly should be safe ;-). I won't say anything here about the position, other than it involved research that was potentially very interesting to me. However, I will note a few of the points which made it such a one-sided experience.

We go through periods where one of the main circuit breakers in our house keeps tripping, which was the main reason I got a UPS. Unfortunately, we've been having one such period recently and 9/10 times my UPS has been shutting down about a second after the mains is cut.
I was fortunate enough to attend this years IEEE International Conference on Image Processing at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). My paper was based on some work I did during my PhD with my poster presentation on the fourth and final day of this multi-track conference.
